Holiday Distraction
Summary
In our society particularly there is a built in desire to be noticed not just by individuals but by corporations and causes. Attention means both fame and money. Because of this, we have millions of people, causes and brands doing all they can to get our attention. It is very easy for us to lose sight of what is important and focus instead on things that are merely transient. This is never more true than during the Christmas holiday season.
