Why Is The Word Important
Summary
The Word of God is under constant attack from those who would discredit it. Equally damaging are the attacks from those who misuse it. In this message, I proclaim the importance of the Word of God and our need understand it for what it is. The Word of God is what it is and says what it says for a reason. Since Scripture is of no private interpretation, it is up to each of us to know what it means. Here are 5 of the reasons we each need to study God’s word.
- It tells us who God is.
- It tells us who we are.
- It provides us a solid foundation.
- It exposes sin.
- It defends us from deception.
